Love Birds - The Cutting Cafe'

Hi everyone and happy hump day! YAY! We're half way through the week! I hope it's going well for you. This is just a quick post to show you a card I made with one of Regina's new Valentine files from The Cutting Cafe' called Little Love Birds. Isn't it too cute? I just printed it out and colored it with my Copic markers. The papers are all scraps from a card you won't see until tomorrow.... Soooooo I guess to you they wouldn't be scraps yet, would they! *smiles* That's a fun one to think about. LOL!
The scalloped card I made using my Cricut Expression and Gypsy, along with the Plantin Schoolbook and Mini Monograms carts. All of which I got from Hallmark Scrapbook!!
recipe:
paper - Wild Asparagus for DP and Bazzill cardstock
ribbon - craft supply
ink - Memento Tuxedo black, Copic Sketch markers
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

3 Clovers Designs Thursday challenge - use numbers

Happy Friday Eve!!! YAY! LOL! Only one more day to the weekend, and I'm ready! With today being Thursday, that means it's time for another challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs. This week, she asked us to use numbers on our projects. Well that was perfect for me, as my grandson, Christopher, was turning four years old. I wanted a bright, fun, cheery card, so I grabbed my Lime Rickey papers by Basic Grey, and that cute image of the party giraffe is from Dustin Pike colored with my Copic markers.

The #4 was cut with my Cricut cartridge (sorry - can't remember which font) and the fun circle stamp is in a set of digi stamps I got from The Cutting Cafe'. It's called All Occasion Circle Word Set 1. I love these circle stamps and use them all the time. The oval behind the giraffe was cut with my nesties.
So that's it for me today! Please be sure and pop over to Three Clovers Designs to check out the team's fabulous creations, and then grab your paper and glue and come play with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Hanglar and Stanglar thank you card

I think I am just as in love with these adorable Hanglar and Stanglar images as I am with my Magnolias!! And thanks to a certain someone who shall go unnamed (you know who you are and I can't thank you enough!!!!), I am able to present some cards with these cutie patootie images!

I colored her with my copic markers and cut her out so I could pop her up for dimension. The frame she's poised on is cut with my Cricut Expression with my brand new Sweethearts Cartridge that I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. The bottom flower is Prima, and the pretty rose centered in each one was a gift from my wonderful friend, Jacque. The card base is Bazzill, DP is Three Bugs in a Rug, and the layering cardstock is from PTI.

I used my new Martha Stewart loop punch too! And see that really cool thing the card is sitting on? That's from my sweetest friend, DeeDee!! I love it! The butterfly and the charm are both from Michael's.
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon!! HUGS!!

What's cookin'? featuring Magnolia stamps along with my Cricut

I have fallen madly in love with the new collection of Magnolia stamps called A Little Yummy For Your Tummy. The stamps are just adorable and are available for preorder right now over at Magnolia-licious! I used #391 Chef Tilda sitting on top of her kitchen table. I can't find it right now, but I thought for sure that Diana had them in stock. If you're interested please email her about them.
The stamps are colored with my Copic markers, also available at Magnolia-licious. Both Tilda and the table are cut out and popped up off the card for dimension. There's also some machine stitching around the card.

I just got my new From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge from Hallmark Scrapbook. I HAD to order it when I got my new Magnolia collection. They were just made for each other. So I cut the fridge in red cardstock from PTI. Used a little white chalk ink around the edge for definition. Don't you just love the little "sparkle" they put on the front? I know I'm really dating myself with this, but remember the old commercials where everything in the kitchen had that big sparkle coming off it??? LOL! Then I cut out a large rolling pin to use for my title and attached a couple little red gingham bows on the handles. The sentiment is computer generated.

For the inside, I cut one of the recipe card shapes for a place to write a note, again with the From My Kitchen cart. I really like how this card turned out. What do you think? I can see lots of possibilities for this new set!!! And to top it all off, Regina from The Cutting Cafe' just came out with a brand new set of printable stamps called From My Kitchen as well! I'm really loving all these kitchen themes!!
That's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me, and I hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!!

Peggy Loves Vintage - Isn't it cute, honey??

Oh how I fell in love with this image from Peggy Loves Vintage. Isn't it so much fun??? The look on poor hubby's face is just priceless! This image is from a new page of cutouts from Peggy Loves Vintage. It's called All About Hats 2.
I just printed out the sheet of cutouts and cut the image out I wanted. If you don't want to print out the entire sheet to use, what I do is open up the entire sheet with my photo editing software, and then crop it down to save each picture as a dfferent file. It works great, and then allows you to only print one image at a time instead of the entire sheet.

I used a word bubble cut with my Expression machine and the Cuttin Up cartridge. The flourish is cut from my new Sweethearts cartridge, the flower is cut from George, and the frame around the cute image was cut from my Storybook cartridge. I added some stitching around the outside of the card base and then zig zagged around the image itself.
Please be sure and check out the adorable images available at Peggy Loves Vintage. They make the cutest cards!!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!
HUGS!

Tricks -n- Treats a Magnolia-licious blog hop!!!

(click on pics to enlarge and view them nice and close)

YAY!!! Happy Friday! And today I have TWICE as much reason to love Friday! Because today, we're having a really fun Tricks - n - Treats blog hop for Magnolia-licious! Not only did the design team use their spooky Magnolia stamps to make a Halloween card, but we also decorated a cute treat bag using a pattern of our choice from Scor-Pal!!! How fun is that??!!! The blog hop started out with the AMAZINGLY talented Cheryl Rowley. Cheryl is my coloring hero. She knows that......cause I've told her about a million times. Seriously...just ask her. LOL! So if you just started the hop here, then please visit Cheryl to start if you want. However you decide to do it, please be sure and visit all the designers to see their fabulous projects. I promise you that you won't be disappointed!! For my set, I used the ever adorable Tilda with Spider Web .
Tilda and the pumpkins are stamped, colored, and then cut out and popped up for dimension. I also used Magnolia pumpkins, and that ever cute bat, and spider, too. Aren't these the most fun stamps ever??? I put them on a base card that I created with my Cricut in DS. It's been a couple of weeks since I put it together, but I'm pretty sure I used George and Mickey Font (I stretched the images in DS). Please email me if you want the cut file. The DP is by Bo Bunny and Bazzill cardstock. The spooky fence is a border punch by Martha Stewart. All the stamps were colored with my Copic markers. Those pretty bows? Those were made with my fabulous Bow Easy.

Isn't this treat bag fun???? I love it! I just cut off the spider web and bottom and top of the broom cause I wanted to turn Tilda's broom into a sign. Here's the link to the Scor-Pal instructions for this box. Just click HERE for the tutorial on how to make it. I will tell you the instructions make a pretty small box. More like what I would consider to be a nut cup. I wanted something a little bigger, so here are the dims I used. I cut my paper at 7" square, then scored at 2" and 5" Follow the instructions for everything else. I LOVE it! You could decorate this awesome box for ANY holiday! It's really sturdy too. I did mine with Bazzill cardstock, and then cut some DP to fit the sides.

This set was soooo much fun to make! I sure hope you enjoy it too!! Now for the really fun part of the blog hop! Halloween blog candy!!! I'm giving away two Martha Stewart border punches. The spooky fence (just like I used for my project, and another one that I ended up buying two of. (it's awful when you forget what you have at home) LOL! You will also receive a mystery Magnolia stamp. Don't you just love a good mystery? Can't have Halloween Tricks n Treats without having a little mystery involved! All you have to do is leave a comment here on this post. You've got until midnight Tuesday evening. I will then pull a winner and announce it on my post next Thursday morning. So check back! New BBTB Challenge - Flower Pot from Garden of Words

It's Sunday night which means it's time for the release of a new challenge by Regina over at Bitten By The Bug. This week, she asked us to use this cute flower pot from the Garden of Words Cricut cartridge. Can you tell I finally got my Design Studio working on my (used to be) new computer? I'm so happy I can easily make shaped cards again!

And how in the world could I ever make a shaped flowerpot card without adding a cute Tilda with her ladybug? :) I get my Magnolia stamps at Magnolia-licious. Diana has a HUGE selection of Magnolia stamps available, so be sure and pay her a visit to check them all out. She now has the Halloween Tilda's in stock, Tilda with spider web, and Tilda with Spider. They are soooo cute!!!

I LOVE the font in the dowloadable stamp "party time" that I got over that The Cutting Cafe'!!! Regina has the such a large selection of amazing downloadable stamps and cutting files! This one came from a HUGE set called "Extended Family Bithday". And like all of Regina's stamps, they're so versatile and can be used for so many things. Be sure and check out her shop!!

I got my Garden of Words cartridge over at Hallmark Scrapbook who is having a huge cartridge sale going on. I only paid 29.99 for this one. I never would have dreamed the prices for Cricut cartrdiges would ever be so low. Here's a picture of the inside of the card.

Please be sure and pop over to Bitten By The Bug to check out the rest of the talented designers creations with this cute flower pot. And we'd love it if you would join in and play along with us. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Bitten By The Bug challenge for this week - Happy Birthday from Hello Kitty

Well, better late than never, I guess, huh? This was my take on the challenge over at Bitten By The Bug this week. The challenge is to use the Happy Birthday cut from the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge. One of the neat features of this cartridge is that it will cut the shape into a card. Cool, huh? That's exactly what I did. This card was EASY PEASY! The balloons were cut from the same cartridge.

I used Bazzil cardstock and then also used some glitter cardstock from DCWV. That along with some doodling and a couple little pieces of ribbon, and this card was done! We'd love it if you would visit Bitten By The Bug and join in the fun! Don't forget to check out what the rest of the fabulously talened DT came up with for this cut! Thanks for stopping in to see me, and I hope to see you back again tomorrow when I'll have another challenge card to show you. Have a wonderful evening!

Signs of Spring Bitten By The Bug challenge

It's Sunday night, that means it's time to reveal another challenge from Bitten By The Bug! This week, Regina is asking you to use the word SPRING from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. This is such a cute cut! How could I not set a Tilda right on top of it? And I used one from the new Spring Club kit too. I also used the spring tree from the Easter collection which is available at Magnolia-licious.
The papers I used are just a little sneak peek of papers I received in the AWESOME kit that will be available tomorrow night over at Sweet Arts Paperie. They are going to debut the kit on their awesome site. Be ready though, cause their kits are limited and I don't see how you can pass this up!

The stamps were colored with my Copic markers, and the circle and scalloped circle the tree is on was cut out with my Nestabilities. The little tag was cut with a Cuttlebug die. I use that die SOOOO often for small little accent tags. I had a REALLY hard time getting the colors of Tilda to match the background papers. No matter what mixture of blues and greens I used, I couldn't get it right. So sorry for the clash of colors. And of course it tells me that I need more Copic colors!! LOL! I feel a shopping spree coming on!

So that's it for my card for tonight. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to see what the rest of the awesomely talented DT came up with! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!

Color My World - a card using Tilda, Cricut, and Pazzle!

Happy Friday everyone!!! This one was a lot of fun to make! I really love the bright primary colors! And I really enjoy combining the Tilda stamps with my Cricut cuts! For this one, I used the sitting Tilda with hair bow and colored her up with my Copic markers.
The DP is by Scenic Route and the cardstock is Bazzill. I cut the crayon with my Cricut Expression machine using my Locker Talk cartridge. The flourish was cut using my Pazzle Inspiration machine with the Twirls and Swirls cd. All of these items are available at Hallmark Scrapbook!

I used my Fiskars Threading Water punch across the bottom and just did the circle tag on my computer. I cut the circle and scalloped circle out with my nesties. That's about it for this one! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I sure hope to see you back again soon! Remember to sign up for my blog candy below if you like the Tilda stamps! HUGS!!

Tutorial on how to make this heart shaped album

Oh my gosh! I almost forgot to tell you about the tutorial I did for the Hallmark Ladybug blog! I made this with my Cricut and Bind-it-all. If you'd like to see more of it, or how I made it, please click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon! HUGS!

Bitten By The Bug challenge this week - Love

Hi! Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Monday means the reveal of this weeks Bitten By the Bug challenge to you, and this week it's the word LOVE from the Home Accents cartridge in the color brown. This is a very simple, yet very effective cut. These items are available for purchase at Hallmark Scrapbook.
The DP is Creative Imaginations and cardstock is Bazzill. I used my lace doily border punch by Martha Stewart and the heart punch is also MS. Added a Prima flower with some ribbon and a few pearls for bling, and that just about completes this very simple card.

Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to see the rest of the deisgners beautiful creations. And we'd love it if you would play along with the challenge! Thanks for stopping by to see me and I hope to see you back again soon!!

Feeling a little flat?

This is a simple little "feel better" card for someone that's had the flu and not feeling 100%. I used my Cricut Expression along with the Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge for the bug convertable and the Graphically Speaking cartridge for the box Tilda is sitting on. All of these things are available at Hallmark Scrapbook! You should go check them out! They are THE BEST!
The polka dot paper is Stampin Up, and the strip across the top is Basic Grey. Cardstock is Bazzill. I used my yummy Martha Stewart border punch on the strip of Basic Grey and then ran it through my printer for the sentiment.

I colored Tilda with my Copic markers and I just noticed she's got some kind of smoodge on her hair, so I'll have to remedy that in just a sec! :) The ribbon is Offray and I used chalk ink on the edges of the die cuts.
That's it for today! It's almost Friday and I took Monday off! I LOVE three day weekends. Well...I'll say I love PAID three day weekends! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and I hope to see you back again really soon!! OH! And don't forget to sign up for my blog candy if you haven't already! Just click right HERE. HUGS!

Happy Birthday JJ!! Mater card using the Cricut Cars Cartridge

My oldest grandson JJ turns a big five years old today (Friday)! He loves the movie Cars, so how could I not make a card like this for him! This is a total lift from my friend Nancy who is one of the most amazing crafters EVER! I told her as soon as I saw her card that I was going to have to lift it!
I cut Mater with my Cricut Expression and Cars cartridge that I bought at Hallmark Scrapbook! You should go check them out! They are having an AMAZING cartridge sale right now! Most cartridges are selling from 29.99 to 39.99 except for the newest ones. I used Doodlecharms for the trees, and New Arrival for the banner.

Pattern paper is Basic Grey and cardstock is Bazzill. I used lots of Cat's Eye chalk ink around the edges of the cuts. And the last and most prevalant thing that I used for this card was a tremendous amount of my love.
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I sure hope to see you back again soon for more crafting fun! Hugs!!

Who loves ya? Card made with Pazzle and Cricut

oooooooooo.....this one was so much FUN to make!!!! Don't you just love FUN??? I used a piece of pattern paper from a DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies stack. I love the blue and green color combo, so this one jumped right out at me.
I used both my Cricut Expression and my Pazzle Inspiration with this card. Isn't that tree the coolest??? I LOVE it!!!! I cut it with my Pazzle from the Swirls and Twirls cd! I've had this cd for a while and I can't believe I have not discovered this cut until now! I'll sure bet you that I'll be using it again though!

The flowers are actually cut from the piece of paper with a little chalk ink around the edge and then popped up off the card base. That cute little owl was cut from the Cricut Storybook cartridge, and the WHO is faux chipboard that I cut with the Mickey Font. I went around the edges of the letters with a little white acrylic paint.

The tag is just hand cut and run through my printer for the "loves ya?". I just think this one is really fun and funky. Thanks TONS for stopping by to see me. Hope you're having a fabulous weekend and I also hope to see you back again really soon!!!
